PS3 + Ipod, PS3 + Video Files

    Is it possible to have the PS3 play music from an ipod like on an Xbox 360?
    Connected mine up but it's not recognising the Music.

    Also, what video type files does the PS3 play?

    Can it stream this media from a networked PC?

    .mp4 h264 video i think. Look up PS3 video 9, burn it onto a cd, orput the video in a PS3\video folder on your usb stick.

    The ps3 can play from portable HD's and the like but they have to be FAT format. I have partitioned an area on my own portable HD as FAT and added music etc to that to play on the ps3. Works fine for me. Hope this helps.

    As far as I know the PS3 can play ipod's, but not in the same way as the 360. Basically you ca only play it when you switch on the console, you cannot play it whilst in a game which is the dissapointing part for me. I am sure that the upgrade in firmware may allow this to be possible within the future.
