    Quick question.....

down to 3 in a 10 handed $50 STT I have approx 10k and two shorties have approx. 1.5-3k each.

    Blinds 200/400

UTG raises 1200 (3k), SB calls allin, im in the BB with 99.

Should i just dump it and get it heads up or should i just go for the outright win now?

In fairness Id imagine the UTG will call the all in, so maybe you should wait for a better spot. Chances are the UTG raise is a pretty good hand considering the stack sizes and his position. And the all in will also be similarly solid, your 99 is most likely not a favourite to both these raises.

FOLD and wait for your heads up

This is really just simple maths, just work out the ranges and bang you have your answer. I assume it pays 3 places, if they pay only 2, then its an obvious push.

    Hey Samba.

You could fold this but you have 7k left if u loose and you could take it down here. The other possibility is that after this hand (with the call) you could be heads up anyways so i think you should call it

Get it in now. If one of them win, take them down HU

Like sikes said, it depends on their ranges. The fact that the blinds are so big now probably makes this a push: opponent ranges are wider, and there is a nice bit of blind money (in proportion to stack sizes) in the pot. But I think you need your nines to be 35%+ in this spot for a push to be right. So if one of the mofos is tight, then fold would be acceptable. Run it through ICM.

How tight can the short stack be with 4BBs, Knocking a player out is more important than chip building,
it looks like the original raiser can't re-raise, so if you can check it down between you its good, lose the player and get to heads up, worst case scenerio, the shortie triples up, but the other guy is down to 1.5k

I push here nearly all the time. 3 handed, the 1200 raise doesnt mean much so i'm happy to take it down here
