Mario Kart is great if you haven't played it.
Phoenix Wright 1 is the best DS game available in Ireland.

really? the reveiws arent *THAT* good, not that my enjoyment has ever been *THAT* in line with their scores...
i'll definitely take it into consideration!
    thanks

Out of the four games you mentioned, mario kart is the best imo. Yoshis island isn't a patch on the original, TS is fairly good and I didn't like mvsdk2 at all. Elite beat agents is the best ds game (not sure if it's out here though) and pheonix wright isn't too far behind. Also, If you like puzzle games then you should def try Meteos

I'd vouch for it as well, highly enjoyable game and most people on this forum seem to be of the same opinion.

I'm currently quite hearting Hotel Dusk, after starting it weeks ago and not having time to play it much since.

Thanks to the lack of region lockout and a recent visit to Tokyo, I'm also playing a bit of 'Otona no Kanji renshuu', but I think that might be an acquired taste...

Would recommend mario kart, castlevania dawn of sorrow, phoenix wright is enjoyable. Lets not forget Advance wars dual strike and 42 all time classics is great when you have a couple of minutes to kill

Wario Ware Touched is a class game and its very addictive and defo one of my favourites..Mario Kart is brilliant and even better if you have wifi because you can race people around the world :D And any of the Castlevania games are good also.

    Some games that Im currently playing through and really enjoying are;

Advance Wars Dual Strike. First advance wars game Ive played. Finally understanding what all the hype is about. Portable strategy gaming at its finest.

Trauma Center; Fun but frustrating at times. Not to mention nerve wracking. Not one for playing on a bumpy bus ride.

Sonic Rush; Great game. BUT way too many bottomless fall down and die pits that have me switching the ds off in a rage.

Star Wars ep III; Nice looking. Beautiful little 2d animations. Great sound. Also gets a bit difficult. Reminds me of the Star Wars games on the snes. Which is definitely a good thing.

Kirby Power Paintbrush; Super addictive! I love this game.

Metroid Prime; Im amazed at how playable the multiplayer is. Cant wait to get a few people around for a game. .

Starfox Command; If you like the free roaming sections on Lylat Wars youll like this. Also another great one for multiplayer.

Jump Ultimate Stars and Jump SuperStars; Super Smash Bros style games for the DS. Hundreds of characters. Absolutely brilliant. Only problem. Because of the amount of characters (all from Japanese Manga) its impossible to license outside of Japan. So its import only. Its such a shame as it has to be one of the best DS games ive played.

Warioware Touched; Bizarre pack of lots and lots of different stylus based minigames.

Point Blank DS; Feels more like whack a mole than a shooting game. Still a lot of fun though.

I could go on and on...but I wont. So many good games for the DS it's actually ridiculous.

Today I finally took the plunge and bought a Black DS Lite, someone shuda knocked sense into me to buy one ages ago! I love it so much.

Bought Mario Kart DS and Final Fantasy 3 with it as part of a deal and after just a few hours playin both they are absolutely brilliant! The Final Fantasy 3 has that classic Playstation 1 era of Final Fantasy gaming and Mario Kart DS is more like Mario Kart from the SNES, cant ask for more than that! Im really happy with this purchase!

Games im considering gettin soon are Castlevania: Dawn Of Sorrow, Metroid Prime, and Megaman DS, there all ment to be excellent

Need to get myself a DS for attending the exams in school.

I have to sit outside the exam halls and make sure no-one cheats. At least I get paid though!

Mine was originally to use on the 1 and a half hour bus journey each way to college.

I wasn't expecting it to be so good. It never leaves my pocket now. (Except when I'm playing it of course ;))
