    Hey

Im heading on a trip to Vegas next month, and wondering if anyone had any advice as to where is the best place to pick up some easy money for a big hold em fan?

... where to stay away from?
... where the yanks throwing it away are?

    ANY input would be appreciated!

1/2 NL is soft all over vegas, although it's softer on the strip than it is downtown where there are a bunch of degenerate regulars playing uncapped games.

Caesars let you buy in for 500. That's where I played most of my poker last year.

ballys/paris games can be great if you catch the drunken frat boys in for the weekend.

I agree. I only played the 1/2 games here with a 200 max buyin but i cashed out for 1200 and 1300 on 2 nights. I found the MGM quite tasty. Bellagio is where the big boys hang out.

I found Caesars to have the worst waiting list and spent ages hanging around waiting on a game

Edited to say : I also had a particular fondness for one of the waitresses there with whom i still keep in touch...ohh to be back in vegas!!

I was there last month and played all my poker in Caesars and The Flamingo. My reccomendation is Caesars for the tournaments and Flamingo(across the road) for the cash games.Played there 7 nights in a row and never came across a good player. Yanks with a tank are plentiful.
