Hey, could someone tell me how to look after, clean, how often to clean etc my AEG. After spending €490 on a CA G36C and all the extras and having it constantly jam, make wierd noises and having the fire selector switch pop off the day I bought it (now it doesn't click anymore) I've realised that they are delicate machines. I'd be grateful if there was more info on proper maintenance procedures. i.e how and when to apply silicone oil etc...

Also, is there a proper procedure to calibrating a red dot sight? Or do you just keep firing at something and adjusting the elevation and whatnot till it's right?

    Maintainence/Cleaning:
    1. Mags, I was having mag problemos(not feeding), take it apart, little scraps of paper in the works! Very simple.(Opening mags is simple and dont worry the p[arts wont just all fall out). When your sone spray a little silicone in each mag. Note: This will affect the next 50 or so shots!

    2. Barrell: Take your cleaning rod out. cut a 1-2cm wide strip of J-cloth then insert through loop and wrap around. Push it through the barell(Cmpletely disable hop up first and be gentle!). Replace cloth if needs be and repeat. Dont think you need silicone in the barell.

3.Gearbox: Dont know, might spray some in there?
