Hi everyone. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how I could go by bus from New York to Toronto and then on to Montreal and back to New York. I heard there was some special Pass you can get , and was wondering if anyone knows where you can get them here in Dublin before I go (end of May). Also does anyone know is there any problem crossing out and back into the USA / Canadian border. I have an ordinary Irish passport. Cheers Mike :)

I know that you can book so many miles in so many days on greyhound. Greyhound runs into Canada aswell.

Whatever you do DO NOT get the train from Montreal to NYC. It said 9 hours and the bus is 8hrs so I was like feck it, I'll get the train it'll be more comfortable. I was on the train for 12 hours :(

There's no problem crossing the border, I think they make you get off the bus and then they check your passports, they give you a visitors visa thing that's valid for 90days.
