Cant receive incoming faxes

    Hi there,

    Im having problems receiving incoming faxes:

    I have a HP PSC 2210 connected to HP PAVILION pc, (doesnt really matter if it is a similar model does it?) but using the built-in Fax console with WinXP.

    I dont use it that often as it has other features, but i'd like it to do this as well
    as it used to work but sometimes temperamental to receive & send.

    Enclosed are pics of the config set-up:

    As far as i know the pc has to be on to receive faxes, but pressing start on the PSC (printer) seems to disconnect it after a while if it hasnt received it by then?!

    The Fax monitor does not come up anymore on the desktop on where you click on it & take you to the Fax Console to receive your faxes.

    If anyone can shed light on this, i would be glad of any advice on whether its useful/useless to use for future use.
