    Hi,
I ordered 3 broadband yesterday afternoon. How long does it take before I should have it on my handset?
    Thanks

Are you on postpay? It should be done pretty quickly - go to the www. where you enter in whatever url you want and tru something simple like google - that is what I had to do to get it active - then was able to access all else after. If you are on 3pay - have you age verified yet?

Yeah, I'm on bill pay. Still no joy. I'll try and ring customer care :(
    Thanks.

    Good luck with that.

Was surprisingly easy actually, got through in about 10 seconds. Turns out my number wasn't properly ported 18 months ago, but he made changes and within 24 hours all was working fine.

Sounds like a problem I had, except it took them over a week to fix it!

Does anyone else have regular breakdowns with 3 mobile broadband. I find that almost if not everyday, at some point, the mobile broadband just returns a tcp-network error. I.e. the three home services etc work fine, the three google results links works ok but clicking any link itself or indeed going to any site outside threes servers will not return any data.

It seems to be a problem with that Three widerweb proxy that repaginates all web pages coming back.

Can you use 3 broadband through a laptop or is it only on the handset

as far as we can determine you can't use it with a laptop on prepay but you definitely can on bill

i ordered it on the first day it was out, a sunday i think, wasnt working properly so i rang and i was told that they were relaunching it ,monday morning so shud work then, which it did. i dnt hav much proplems wit it,, jst my 'web' browser on the phone, when i go back to the the standby screen. it cuts off the connection rather than still running in the backround like 'services' does, using n80 turned to n80ie any ideas for this?

how are you going back to the main screen? if you're pressing the end call button, don't. on my n70 some programs close when i press the end call button and some don't so i press the menu button to "minimise" programs

I use Opera Mini on it. Works alot better than the Nokia 6280 software.
