How do you train a dog to retrieve birds?
Any help and advice would be much appreciated.

    Hi -

You get a packet of his/her favourite treats and a tennis ball.... and take it from there. Most dogs are smart enough to chase something when its thrown.

Our dog is so well trained that we can lock her in the kitchen and hide the ball in the garden. Then we open the door and tell her to 'get the ball'. She then finds it, brings it back and drops it at my feet!
