Putting Home DVD's onto the PSP.

    Hi,

    I recently bought a psp and bought a 2gb Memory stick Pro Duo. I can put music onto my psp as well as bits of video which are already stored on my computer (using Image Converter 2) but im having a huge problem putting regular DVDs onto my psp.

    Can anyone give me a few tips as to how to put these DVDs onto the psp?

    I'm using something called CloneDVD atm, it's pretty good. on a free 30 day trial.
    the movie needs to be in mp4 format and stored in a particular folder.
    say your PSP root is c:\ then the movies will need to be stored in c:\MP_ROOT\100ANV01\ or c:\MP_ROOT\100MNV01\ depending on the format of the video, but the first path is the one that works for me most times.

    Try PSPVideo9 for converting.

    Alternatively, try Sony's own Media Manager software, which costs around €10

    I use a programme called Magic DVD Ripper. It will copy any DVD and output it in several types of video such as MP4 etc. perfect for the PSP. The outputted files are a large size though and will quickly eat up space on any size memory stick.I sometimes put the outputted file through image converter 2 to reduce the movies file size, but this will reduce the quality.
