Income tax whilst working abroad

    Hi

I will be spending a considerable amount of time working for an Irish company in Kuala Lumpur. I will be paid into my Irish current a/c.

I will spend 3 months initially from May 26th returning to Dublin for 2 weeks and then again until December before returning for Christmas.

I know when I left the country for a year in June 2003 I received a full tax refund on my earnings for 2003, which was nice.

Is there any implications re: tax refunds or similar that I may be entitled to?

    Thanks in advance
    S

I believe this relief no longer applies - I had a look into this last year when the company I work with sent me to the USA. There a document on the revenue site which may give you more information.
