im going to be in paris during the election. does anyone know if/how i can vote??

It's quite unlikely - even if you do match any of the criteria as far as I know application for postal voting is closed...

I am guessing that the OP is already registered to vote but will not be in the country at the time of the election so is asking if he/she can still cast his/her vote from outside the country?

To OP it might be worth giving the citizens information board a ring or do a search for info on here: http://www.citizensinformation.ie/categories.

Yeah I kinda figured that - and the link provided in my post will give the information needed with respect to voting from abroad. If the OP is going on holidays then they will not be able to use their vote.
