Hey lads just need a bit of sound advice.

Looking for a new computer, preferably around the 600 quid mark.

All the computer will be used for is internet access (no games, little storage), mainly Betfair (gambling/trading site) so quicker the better really. Was told not to get anything less than 1gb of Ram(?).

Would one of Dells offers suit?

    Any advice appreciated,
    Cheers!

Anything built in the last 5 years would suit you :) But yeah, a Dell is probably your best bet.

Nice one Aiden. Cheers for the quick reply.

Yeah I know I probably aint asking for much in a computer, but would like it to be good for a few years, you know how it is.

Currently in a Gateway (windows me). Pain in the arse!

You are not looking for much so I'd say you could get a decent comp from them. All XP machines (but coming from ME to XP SP2 you won't know yourself!)
