Hi can anyone advise me about buying contact lense on line. I have had alook and the lenses prescribed are Coopervision, but I can not find the exact ones. I have just bought my first order from my optician. 6 months of monthly cooper vision options comfort+ lenses and 6 bottles of solution for €135. This seems expensive to me.....or is it?? Oh yeah I have also ordered 1 month of daily lenses at €40.

    Any advice please.

Hey, I'm a lens wearer with about 3 years now and I bought my first lot of lenses online about two months ago form this crowd -
    http://www.getlenses.com --- They're a Irish/English based company

I would seriously recommend them they even rang my opticians for me to confirm all my prescription details, reccomended new lenses as opposed to the ones I ordered and had no problem modifying my order over the phone (Recommended lenses were cheaper too !)

So 6 Months cooper vision lenses -
    http://www.getlenses.com/actifresh400UV.jsp -- €49

    and 6 months AMO Solution
    http://www.getlenses.com/solutions.jsp -- €46.95

Plus postage -- €5 (I Think it was)

Total €100.95 gives a saving of €34.05 which isnt too bad.

Oh and try this promotion code if you do order off them - PE05 - Its should get you 7.50 off your total order.

    Yeah, would recommend GetLenses too.

They're quite good with their checks etc. and make sure you're getting what you're supposed to - I ordered some recently and got a phone call to say my prescription details were out of date and needed to be updated.
They send me 10 free pairs of lenses straight away which I could use until I had gotten my new prescription sorted out too,.
