    Hey,

does anyone know any good docs/physios/specialists in Dublin for treating groin problems?
Mine has been at me for about 2 months now and I have stopped all activity that even nearly aggravates it for over 1 month with only a slight reduction in pain.

Really pissing me off at this stage.

    Cheers!

I've treated a coupe of the guys off this board and Team Test for that. It depends largely on the exact nature of the injury, but I'd be more than happy to take a look and see if I can help.

I'm an acupuncturist, TCM practioner and certified Western Mediac based in South Dublin and I specialise in injuries like that. Pm and we can talk more about it. :)

thanks, have you used the yourself?
Are they a good general physio or do you know if they are good with groins?

    yes i have used them.
    very knowledgeable (imo of course..).

groin pain can often be due to a hip or back problem so i'd recommend getting it checked out properly to assess what your exact problem is.

True story. Alot of the injuries I've been picking up have been directly attributable to my glutes not firing properly.

These guys are fantastic, they're fixed me several times in the past 18 months! You can't go wrong wit either Orla or Mark http://www.sportsmedireland.ie/ (they're based just off Kildare St - Schoolhouse Lane)

I'll second the sportmed crew. I had a groin injury that had niggled on and they fixed it.
