  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,201 ✭✭✭Macspower

yeah some of them are just bad beats...

what i did was just went back through PT as selected all pots thaqt I lost more then 50$ in.... so there is prob a bit of everything in there.

I think they were BB as well but I can't be that unlucky in a few hours....... well maybe i can

Hand 1: open limping JTo utg is pretty horrible.as played betting turn is ok but i probably just give up.

Hand 2: c/calling flop is really bad.lots of cards can kill your hand/action on the turn.im not crazy about p/f either.

Hand 3: again p/f is pretty marginal.flop is total spew.either check/call or fold.pushing doesnt achieve much.

Hand 4: c/raise flop and get it in.again lots of cards can kill your action.

Hand 5: if youre calling p/f then you have to call flop.calling off $75 when villian has only $125 behind purely for set value is hugely -EV.3 betting here with JJ is fine but i probably fold to 4 bet w/o a good reason not to.

    Hand 6: Standard.

Hand 7: im not a huge fan of calling raises with AJo.id either raise or fold here.raising flop is bad.c/call.

Hand 8: i raise flop 100% of the time.as played raise more on turn.$80-$90.

    Hand 9: Standard.

Hand 10: Looks ok.given stack sizes i just shove flop.

    Hand 11: meh.its ok but i check turn/re-evaluate river a lot here.

Hand 12: total spew.i usually wouldnt c/bet this kinda flop into 2 people but i guess its ok to balance your play.as played shut down on turn.

    Hand 13: Standard.

Hand 14: Just call flop.when players used to donk bet it meant bet/fold a huge % of the time but not much these days.also theres a player behind you so raising is pretty dangerous.

Hand 15: looks ok.i might bet/3-bet shove this flop depending on read of player.

    1. fold pf. i guess it's ok.
    2. I think u should fold to the raise pf. lead the flop i think
    3. pf is a bit iffy. hate the shove.
    4. try and play it a bit faster. cold deck
    5. i don't think jj is a good hand to be 3betting with. prob should fold to his raise, esp if you're not shipping it on that flop
    6. ok
    7. don't raise the flop.
    8. raise the flop! bet more on the turn
    9. yup
    10. maybe it's just me, but i don't think u should be 3betting kqo.
    11. check the turn. i'd check that flop a good bit too.
    12. what are u doing?
    13. yup
    14. just call the flop.
    15. ok.

hand 1 is ok bar preflop
    hand 2 is unlucky
hand 3 is bad, muck preflop or on the flop
    hand 4 is unlucky
hand 5 is really bad, you cant call that much preflop if you are going fold the flop. Just fold to his 4bet preflop
    hand 6 is unlucky/fine
    hand 7 fold preflop
    hand 8 is unlucky/fine
    hand 9 is unlucky/fine
hand 10 what is the point in betting the turn? the most likely draw just got there. Check and see what happens on the river. Or just push the flop
hand 11 you dont need to raise preflop, once you do and are called on the flop you should check behind on the turn. Its hard for him to call with a worse hand and he isnt folding abetter one
hand 12 is unlucky. I would usually just chk fold
    hand 13 is unlucky/fine
hand 14 just call flop. Noone is folding anything
    hand 15 fold turn

I wouldnt worry too much about it, its only 5 buyins and most of the big hands were set over sets, or bad beats, which are always going to be costly. If you play enough you will go through streaks like this

    that sendspace thing is annoying...

it would be useful if you put the PT stats of the villains in

Hand 1: don't open limp etc....
Check the turn and get to cheap showdown.
Most average players are check/calling here with a weak ace and won't give up so trying to push him off it is bad.

Hand 2: I fold 33 preflop to his reraise.
I'd want us both deeper to call it (like 250bb each)
    As played, whaddya gonna do?
Set over set, it happens - meh

Hand 3: I fold to his flop bet.
    This looks spewy as played

Hand 4: ul, whaddya gonna do again?

    Hand 5: this hand sucks.
either fold to his 4-bet or get it all in PF with a specific read of lunatic/maniac.
Really need info on villain here.

Hand 6: lol! ul, what can you do...

Hand 7: I think you played this well and lost the minimum

Hand 8: Raise the flop FFS!

Hand 9: oh good grief. I probably just turn off the pc at this stage.

    Hand 10: check turn.

Hand 11: very similar to hand 3. I hate it.
Again some stats/reads are needed here.

Hand 12: Hate this too. I check behind on the turn. What do you think you're beating here?

Hand 13: lead the flop. Bleh.

Hand 14: haha, the donk bet! if he's dumb enough to do this, you ain't pushing him off his hand...

    Hand 15: fold turn

Sorry bout that bill... worst about free things eh.....

Thanks to everyone for taking the time to go through the hands. I've now looked back through them again and I agree with everything said. Some were unlucky some were very spewey.......

I lost about 1600 over these 15 hands luvky enough I played a few good ones as well to leave me 5 buy in's down for the session.... Not the end of the world but I was just recovering from 10 buy in's down and was back to only 1 down and was happy enough until this session...

Suppose it can't get any worse... I'll make a quick report here on how today goes.

Hand 1, I hate the limp. The post flop play is ok

    Hand 2, Variance

Hand 3, I hate the raise after the flop.

Hand 4, Unlucky again but I usually lead out on such a dangerous board.

Hand 5, I fold to the reraise preflop. I fold flop also.

Hand 6, Variance again. Nothing you can do.

Hand 7, Fold or raise pf.

Hand 8, I think I prefer a raise on the flop.

Hand 9, More variance. You got your money in good. Nothing ya can do.

    Hand 10. Played fine

Hand 11, I hate the turn bet. Not crazy about the pf raise either.

Hand 12, Again I hate the turn bet,

    Hand 13, Plays itself

Hand 14, No need for such a big reraise on flop. Calling turn is ok I guess

Hand 15, 3 bet flop maybe??
