    Most of the usable images were just the IR ones, although I did get a lovely mountainside panorama from above Lough Corrib

    Fionn: An infrared filter on your lens and a camera sensor that can pick up infra red light. Most cameras will have a filter on the image sensor that blocks out most infra red light so very long exposures are required. People who are seriously into infra red photography and have a digicam to spare open up the camera and take off the infra red blocking filter on the sensor.
