    hi there,
I have a modest apartment in Alicante and with all the recent news of impending property crash in Spain I'm wondering if it is time to off load. Here are the facts:

    * now worth 15% than purchase price 2 yrs ago
    * constantly rented out and have had no problems so far
    * loads of new development under construction in the area at
    present.

    Any advice?

    Don't sell!
Costa Del Sol is one of the few places in Spain that will shoulder the ripples in the property pond.
I have relatives who own a villa in Alicante (they reside in Ireland).
They've owned it for 15 years and it's proven to be very worthwhile.
    Be patient.
    It will definitely pay off.

I would hang on and hold on to it.
A friend of mine has an apartment in Funchal and for 2 years had problems renting it out - but last year created a small website to advertise it and has had the apartment booked solid for about 40 weeks last year... already has bookings for 2008 from as far away as New Zealand and China.
