Help! Prob with code for the sidebar on my blog

    Don't know if anyone's going to be able to help with this, but fingers crossed...

    Basically I'm trying to put a countdown to the general election as a widget on the sidebar on my blog, but it's not going up. Here's the code, which I got from the Labour website:

    <script src="http://www.labour.ie/common/js/countdown2.js&quot;
    type="text/javascript"></script>

    Can anyone see any reason why that wouldn't be working for me? It's really frustrating, I don't understand what the problem is. Could they have made a mistake with the code?

    If anyone has any answers it'd be muchos appreciated.

    I dont see any reason why that code wouldn't work
    When you view the source of your blog those the code show up exactly as above?
    Some blog software will stop you from adding javascript or html by converting the < symbol to < etc.

    I think it must be a problem with Wordpress itself; every single time I add the code to the side bar and save it, it simply isn't there the next time I look! So it's not even showing up on the source page at all, let alone the blog itself. Maybe it's incompatible with Wordpress?

    Edit: Just got this from the Wordpress FAQ:

    My code said something about Java script in it - so would this be the reason why it doesn't work?
