Do they have to be new ones? Hope to take something new, but if we dont get out and get something decent can it be an old shot? I always forget what the answer to that is!

Nah you can just dig something old out if you need to... but it's less fun that way!

I concur, it is much less fun. Since I mashed me leg I've been limited to trawling through my old stuff to try match the theme. Still, it's nice going through all the old stuff. Hopefully that will all change before the end of the summer. Serves me right for being different, I guess!

You don't necessarily have to set foot outside the house for this one though - I'm thinking of trying to set up something at home...

Yeah, broke it pretty badly in a rock climbing fall last June! Only just graduated to one crutch a couple of weeks ago, but still a long ways to go before I'm back to norm. Owch is prob more appropriate.
Shadows is a really nice theme with the sun the way it is outside, but sure I'll have to make do. I aint complainin' Gotta look on the bright side (if you'll excuse the pun!)

I tried joining this ( http://photos.rymus.net) to get a user account to put an entry up but havent heard anything back yet -how long is it sposed to take ? Is there a way to check ?

Same problem here, tried to set up an account, no juice. Tried just logging in to no avail, never got a confirmation email or anything either. If I try and create a new user with the same name "dairequinlan" I get an error saying the username already exists. So I'm guessing there's a 'get an email and click on a link to authorize the account' step thats missing somewhere ?

Mine is literally ancient, but with work and a new missus haven't had time to shoot much new (or post on boards ) ...... bring on Canada in 2 weeks!

I put one up too - my first. It was a great way to make me think about something I wouldn't normally have shot. When's the next one!

I had an idea of a shot and tried it out at the weekend but my lamp was being stubborn and in the end if gave up. I won't have time now to enter anything and this is the one I knew I would have won

The album says its empty even though people say they've uploaded shots.

Am I being stupid?

EDIT: Also, when I try to add my shot to the album I get the following message:

Disk quota exceeded

You have a space quota of 1024K, your files currently use 0K, adding this file would make you exceed your quota.

is your file close to or bigger than a meg family guy? I don't think you can upload anything bigger.. and the files only become visible when judging commences.

It's definitely not a meg cos I resized to keep it under. Maybe I'll shrink it a bit more just to be sure

I use a program called PIXresizer to reduce my filesizes; it does them in batches. It also reduces the physical picture size. It was a free download, and I find it excellent.

Afraid so John. I think its the 20th of every month the entries have to be in for....but not to worry, you might havemissed this one but theres always next months to look forward to!
