Just Got My Tremol-no

    Ive been toying with the idea of getting a Tremol-no for ages. For anyone who doesnt know what it is, its basically a device which allows you to set your Floyd to work as a hard-tail, or a dive only bridge, or a full floating trem. It was very easy to install and it works great :D

    Did you get a custom back plate too or do you just leave it off? I'd say that's useful when you're restringing

    My stock Ibanez back plate one has 2 long sections pre cut out for adjusting the claw screws which handily enough lets me control the tremol-no too :)

    I imagine it would be rather handy for use when changing strings too, no?

    Ideedeo! The bridge can stay fixed in position so you can take off all the strings and clean the fretboard etc.

    Thanks, its my #1 atm. I have a few Ibanez's but this one just feels amazing. That might all change soon however, I have Richard Fay in England making me a hard tailed swirled RG with a built in Roland Gk pickup which should be amazing. Should have it in around a month, cant wait :D

    Got it from Allparts.com, only took 3 days to arrive. Had a bit of time to play with it now, its really nice. When in hardtail or drop-only mode I can drop tune with all my remaining strings staying in perfect pitch. I can also now change tunings in a second. Only issue I find is if the low E breaks the A string will go slightly out of tune, but the remaining strings will stay in tune so its not that big a deal.
