Sorry if this is in the wrong forum!
I want to sell something on e-bay but dont have a credit card.To register I need to give credit card details. Is there anyway around this? Can I not give my bank details or is there any other method of payment?

You could try paypal. I think you can link a paypal account to your bank account instead of a credit card. Not 100% sure though

I didn't think you needed to give a card number to register on eBay though? Is this only when you try to set up an auction or when you actually try to register your username?

I just registered an account a minute ago and didn't need a card number anyway.

Online Buying and Auctions might be a better place for this too.

Registering on Paypal will also require a credit card since they don't accept Irish bank accounts.

I remember reading somewhere that there is a card you can buy in Spar or something that allows you to buy online?

Or try a Wirecard as an alternative to 3V.

Wirecard is basically a virtual Mastercard which can be topped up.

i work for eBay so i hope I can help ya :D

to sell in eBay heres what you need to do:

You will need to set up a seller account,

    http://pages.ebay.ie/help/sell/seller_account.html

you'll be asked to register a credit card (this is for security not for fees or payments)

Once you have done this, then you can set up your automatic billing method (how your goin to pay your fees)

    http://pages.ebay.ie/help/account/automatic-payments.html

in here, you can just add the 3v card as a credit card, or you can set up a paypal account and add the 3v card to your paypal account.

I use 3V and have not had any problems so far (other than spending alot :D)

any problems or if i explained that ar*eways, lemme know :D
