Musicmaker on Exchequer St. sell Orange amps. Haven't been in there in a while so I don't know what they have in stock at the moment. Go in and check them out but maybe compare their prices with some online stores and see if you can get a better deal. They're not cheap amps so every penny counts!

musicmaker have the worst staff in dublin, always have!
one or two sound lads through the years but mostly a bunch of stuck up twats who have a crap knowledge of what they sell!
    case in point,
seen a trex alberta distortion in there during their christmas sale scratched to bits,no price on it,covered in dust (but i know this is a cool TS clone)
asked the price and was told they couldn't find it on the computer, asked could they check with someone in the office or something, was told the lad on the floor who's the buyer was away on holidays for a couple of weeks,i'd have to wait until he got back!!!
    forgot about pedal
went in around end of jan/feb and asked price again
buyer dude couldn't remember the retail price, but he thought it was 140ish
offered 100,he flat out said no way then he changed his mind and said no actually the cost price was 140!
at this point i walked away!

musician inc is the place to go in dublin without doubt

Totally agree about musician inc. have had many problems with guitars sorted in there over the last couple of years. Yeah see the advert on adverts for the orange cab. Made an offer for that. All im looking for at moment is a cabinet.

Was planning on only buying a 2x12 but these offers wont come around too often round these parts. Can you fit a 4x12 into a car? Like the back seat. I want a 4x12, just dont fancy lugging it around:( hah

With the back seats down, you'll fit it in no problem, unless you're driving something tiny. A hatchback will help

But seriously, only get a 4x12 if you need/want it.

Or you could try two 2x12"s... depending on needs you've got either 2 or 4 speakers available for the one amp. Or if you've got two heads you've a cab for each if you want to double up at a gig.

I used to use that set-up all the time, but they've been sitting in my front hall untouched for over a year...

I got an ENGL 2X12 that is built like a brick **** house, it's heavier than my Marshall 4x12. It's rare enough you see Orange gear here, it's rare enough I'm in Irish music shops anymore too.. ho ho. Take to the states, and go checkout a "Guitar superstore", that's a real experience, you could spend weeks in the places.

600 bills for an orange 4x12 is a good deal IMO. Was only planning on getting a 2x12 but fek it, if it sounds good it sounds good! Its 50kg! It will need 3 men to lift it but it will be worth it (hopefully)
