This has happened to me before just on odd occasions, but I've had a few premonitions in dreams over the last few weeks. To be honest I don't know whether to be pleased or not, a couple of them were quite freaky. I'm not getting the whole information just bits of it, either dates or names.
So does anyone know how to get more information or how to get it to stop?
    Thanks.

    Hi Magnumlady,

There was a post on this way back in the early days of the sleeping and dreaming forum

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2054970211

I've had a couple but nothing that had freaked me out too much... just silly everyday things really. I imagine it must be quite disturbing if it's serious things you're dreaming about?

Hiya, Thanks for that, I will check out the other link.
One of my dreams I posted about before it was a couple of years ago and I saw a man in a hospital bed and heard the words two weeks (which was the 8th of July), a very good friend of mine got ill after the dream and died on the 8th of July.
Just recently I kept hearing April 14th, not just in a dream but also during the day. I knew something was going to happen, it turned out my dad fell and broke his hip and wrist.
I also dreamt something not connected to me, I won't go into details as I don't want to upset anyone, but I was handed a child and heard a name. Was listening to the news the next day and the name came up, it was an unusual name, that freaked me out.
I've dreamt very mundane things as well that have come true. Last night I dreamt my car passed its NCT (its going tomorrow) but I think its going to fail so we'll have to see what happens.

    hey magnumlady,

I've had many dreams before where by it happened in some form or another in the days following it, nothing to major, just small little things. But there is one dream i've been having for years now that i personally feel is a premonition, its kinda strange, i know the dream and have it all the time but when i'm awake i cant remember it, i know i sound like a looper but i'm being dead serious!

Hi there, I know what you mean about the dreams. If you want to develop it further keep a notebook beside bed and take notes of things etc. Try a bit of meditation before bed and if you really get freaked about it ask the powers that be to take it away till you are ready.

I once had a dream about being shown an onion, took me a while to realise what it was all about. If I have a premoniton type dream its abstract and like a jigsaw I have to put together, instead of the real peoples names and places I will get it in different ways. Its all about intepretation.

If anytime you want to chat about dreams feel free to contact and we can go through it to see if we can make sense of it all?

Hi, I dream a lot, get a lot of info in dream state, i have found writing them down as soon as i awake is a great help, then later in the day go back and re read the info, its usually clearer then, the meaning should stick out a bit more, its best to interprete your own dreams, also, mine come through in symbolic language so try to look beyond the actual visions of the dream. I would imagine you are quite psychic, when you open up to this world its known that a lot of negative info comes first, ask the spirit world to help out here, if you can do something about the info your getting then do,however,if its something you cant do anything about and will upset you then ask them to with hold that info, they dont wanna upset you with the info they give but unless you ask for it to stop,it wont.
You must lead a busy day time life as thats why you get the info at night,if you have time to meditate it may help curb the night activity.

I understand that, happens me quite a bit also,i believe that you are not remembering the info in the dream when you wake as its not time for you to have it yet, we get a lot in the dream state and recieve a lot of messages, but we dont remember them, the feeling stays with us,the dream is very real and vivid, the feelings you have tell you its important but you lack the facts, just hang tight and when the time comes you will know.

I've had that too........really it was the only way my psychicness showed when i was a teenager. Just this morning I had a dream that I had to get rid of 4 spiders.....woke up and yep, 4 spiders in my bedroom! Thankfully they were smaller than the dream ones. LOL happens all the time.
But I always know that when I dream of a spider it means there is one very close by! EEK!

Thanks so much for your reply, it seems to have calmed down at the moment. I'm still dreaming but nothing that seems like a premonition.
