    Hi all,

Bit of a dilemma - I sent my old favourite 105mm 2.8 for repairs nearly 4 months ago, and it still hasn't been sent back (long long story)...Had been kinda counting on it for a photoshoot this wednesday...but no luck. Only Canon lens I have with me this week is my 50mm prime, which is a bit too short and distorted for what I want. I don't have the money to rent one from Conn's at the moment.

Would anyone have a lens I could borrow (and they would trust me with) for Canon Ef mount on Wednesday evening? Any brand, and zoom or prime, as long as it'll fit a full frame sensor. Any 24-70's or anything between from 85 to 200....just generally sharp lenses!

I can return the favour by giving some photoshop help, a hand at lighting/studio work?

You can have one of mine if you like, might not suit the focal range your after though.

50mm 1.4 or 17-40L would probably be the best bet out of my lot. Also have a cheapo 80-200mm canon 5.6 which rattles but optically its fine not exactly pin sharp but you can borree it if you want.

Don't forget I've seen your lenses, and Conns won't break your legs if you drop one of their lenses ;)

You can have my 105 2.8 Sigma if you want. It's the macro lens, great for portraits but you would have to use manual focus mainly as its slow to focus.

    02341606 & ask for repairs ...

Yep, went down that route too.

They're excuses so far have been either waiting for stock that's been in the post for a few weeks to come from HK...

I get the feeling someone f*cked up somewhere along the line, and they're not taking responsibility...
