    Pav. Friday. Closed. 9. Why?

(I did have a lengthy rant typed, but I decided not to subject you to it. And yes, it did take me 2 days to finally air my frustration  )

Ran out of drink? Do you have any idea how long it takes to clear the pitch area of cans after closing? Maybe the staff wanted to get home before morning,.

The story is, according to staff, that they have only 3 staff members to clean the entire cricket pitch and surrounding area, and that these staff members (employed by DUCAC) have to be off campus before 12. So they'd need 2 and a half hours to do this (though I'd question that).

Also, they run out of drink frequently.

What? Adequate waste facilities in Dublin? Are you mad!?!

More barrels would be a major thing i'd love to see. There are an inadequate number.

Another thing i'd love to see is some sort of workable disposal system for cigarette butts. though thats something I want to see all over college.

I dunno if they can put too many barrels on the cricket pitch type thing without completely coming out and condoning drinking there. People are generally scumbags, especially the scumbags, so to expect them to clean up after themselves is too much. I think the provost should sent a bill to DIT and UCD, on a typical pav friday I don't know how many ucd people and DIT (especially arch students) I bump into.

Maybe the problem is the amount of people rather than the amount of barrels. There must be a thousand ****ers around the place gettin' in my way when i want a drink. Heartless bastards.
