auto cad problems

    I work in an Architects office on cad release 2004 and we get major internal errors and our cad / computer provider can not hekp us....Wondering can anyone help us...We get internal errors when zooming, changing from modelspace to paperspace, copying and pasting,changing text, and the odd time when your just working away the computer will just STOP.....it make us so mad as you have to keep saving the drawing every few mintues just incase......PLEASE HELP....WE HAVE PURGED, AUDITED DWG ETC AND NOTHING HELPS..........

    Why did you feel the need to hijack this thread? Would it not be alot simpler and more logical to start a new thread?

    Could be a over heating problem, check if all fans inside the computer are spinning

    you have consulted with the software maker yes? Have you thought about moving to a newer version too?

    have you applied all the autocad patches

    Which version - LT ?

    try saving the file as an earlier version and open that

    is it ok on another pc ? - if not then it's probably the drawing, restore the last stable backup of it.

    have you tried voloview or the other acad viewers ?

    are there other problems with the PC - is it patched to date
