    Great tune...

This song is in standard mandolin tuning (G D A E from top to bottom)

The intro is basically a C inversion arpegiated:
    E|-0
    A|-3
    D|-7
    G|

The verse is just D and G except you just play the highest 2 strings followed by this chord:
    E|----5
    A|----0
    | and this lick:
    D|----4
    G|

    E|3-2-0-2-3-2-0|
    A|
    D|
    G|

    The chorus is:
    These 2 chords alternated:
    E|0
    A|3
    D|5
    G|

    E|5
    A|0
    D|4
    G|

followed by these 2 chords alternated:
    E|-3
    A|-2
    D|-3
    G|

    E|-0
    A|-2
    D|-3
    G|

This should get you started. Most of the rest is just single note licks/fills
Sorry about the scrappyness of this post but its ages since I played this on the mandolin

Do you have the mandolin tuned backwards? Seriously, I've seen this happen. It's quite an easy song to play on mandolin,

Jimmy played his mandolin a demisemitone(???) (Quarter tone) flat on this track if I remember correctly. Not 100% on that though...

    Tuning mandolins is UNFUN.

Ehhh Jimmy didn't play the Mandolin with Zep, John Paul Jones did!

They both did. But I don't see how that's important...
