I want to do a reinstall of XP but I want to save my emails, if possible to import back in after reinstall or in a word/excell file thatcan be read. How would I go about doing it. I seem to remember doing it before but afair it was a direct option in outlook express. When I go to File -> Export Messages it give me this message "This will export messages from outlook express to MS outlook or ms express" but am i right in think this wont be to an accessable file type?

    Cheers

as far as i remember, you can just drag the emails from the inbox of outlook express to a new folder in windows...
then reverse the process when you've reinstalled.

I could be totally wrong though...
