Penneys tend to have plain simple stuff along with all the "Drink me I'm irish" stuff.

Was over in London the weekend and went into Abercrombie & Fitch.
Now before everyone goes mad .... I know there very expensive but I have to say the t-shirt quality is fab. For hot summer days the t-shirts are like a towel and very good quality.
Thats my 5 cent worth :D

Bollocks that Abercrombie & Fitch nonsense.

Heatons, €3 plain T-Shirts, and surprisingly, they last.

www.threadless.com is great for tshirts. You need to buy 3 or 4 at a time for it to be worth it though.

sweet, they have some great plain stuff.

it's so hard to find clothes that aren't plastered with *insert random US college name and year* t-shirts.

Why do people who recommened Pennys and trash any label that's "too expensive" hang out on the fashion board? I see this happen all the time.

Anyways, Threadless, Truffle Shuffle, Urban Outfitters UK. Try all their sites and you'll be fine

Where are people hearing that American Apparel are due to open in Dublin? It's not on their site - tell me it's true!

Just stand in the middle of the city, put one finger on you nose and point the other hand directly in front of you, close you eyes and spin around. Let ten seconds go by, stop. Walk and you'll find a shop...

    ...

Or try J&J, River Island, Next etc...

I've often wondered about this too. IMHO the stuff sold in Pennys is of very poor quality and while it is cheap to buy initially, it looses its shape after the first wash, the colour runs etc etc and then you have to replace it. On the other hand if you buy something decent from another shop it will last and after its been washed still look like it did on the first wearing.

Apologies for digging up an old thread but I want to update the information I gave upthread.

American Apparel have pulled out of the deal to open a store on Wicklow Street. The unit is now back on the market. Must be yet another sign of the recession.
