I made this thread about a week ago. Basically I had a .DAT file and it wouldnt transfer to my Zen vision M. I was advised to download a codec and it seemed to work fine after that. I transfered it to my Zen but when I try and watch it, the video is upside down!

If I try watch it on the pc, its not upside down...hmm - Ideas ?

Turn your Zen the other way round?

But seriously... was it ffdshow you used? I had problems with upside down videos when encoding using that but play around with the setting a bit, I think there's an option to flip the video right-side-up

No it was the built in converter with the zen software. Im actually trying to watch it on my tv (with the zen cable). Hmm - I'll have a look aroung in the settings but I dont think theres an upside down option! Where is the option in ffdshow though ? I think I might have used that actually.

What confuses me is that its right side up on the pc...
