Ok, Its my first time using boards forum so apologies if I am doing something wrong.

I have a restaurant in the seaside town of Kilkee, co clare. which would love to host bands of the nature I described above, I dont have money to justify paying!
I can however organise free ood food and drink and possibly free accomodation.

I think this wouild appeal to solo artists and bands that want a "busmans holiday" where by I provide food and drink to and I team up with a hotel or good b and b to provide you with accomodation at a cheap/free rate
My restaurant is a small seafood bistro called loaves and fishes,it seats only 30 (max)and occasionally had good sessions with local folk trad blues musicians the play just for the crack and for practice... I hope I dont come accross as someone who undervalues music the opposite is true, I just cant afford it with the size of venue I have. Maybe this would suit foreign travellin band better. Its just at the dream stage now so any information is appreciated.

    Hi there,

Sounds like a nice wee thing you got goin' on there.

Free grub and a chance to sell a few CDs?

I'd be well up for that in this summer!!

Let me know what you think of my stuff and sure we can arrange something eh?

    Cheers

I'm a one man band who does a bit of Rock, Blues, Irish Rock, Originals, pop, reggae, folk & even a very little country artist with a drum machine and my trusty loop pedal, (a wife & two kids who'd have to come too!!) but I wouldnt mind a day or two by the sea in Co Clare but it had better stop raining!! Pm if your interested.

It seems very small to host a blues band. The average blues band would have 3 or 4 people in it with drums and amps. At 30 people max, that's only about 7 tables ( with 4 to a table ) Is there enough room ?

Maybe you mean acoustic bands ?
