Hello ,I'm new to broadband and I don't really know what the legalities are in relation to setting up a website ,for either business or personal use.

If a business website is of a registered company ,how is this suppose to be done . Is there a routine of business that needs to be followed upon.

    Any replies would be appreciated,
    Thanks,
    Brian.

    Hi Brian,

If you want a ".com" ".net" ".eu" domain it's quite simple to set up and you don't need a company name ect.. in fact you can probably get a domain registered & a years web hosting for about €60. This also includes as much web space and as many email addresses with your new domain name that you'll need... this can all be set up in a matter of mins and costs about €60 euro for the year for hosting...

If on the other hand you want a ".ie" domain you do need a company name registered. Check out the following links:-

If you need advice on setting a domain up drop me a PM.. i've set up 2 recently for 2 different companies...

Thanks for the help ,I'll need one for an Irish Company and another one or two for myself.
I wasn't sure if a company needs to deal directly with a registered company ,that sells domains and builds websites.

    Appreciate the reply :) ,
    Brian.

Subject to availability, You can get any .ie you want just by regsitering a Business Name at the Companies Registration Office for EUR 20 online.

But of course the 20 Euro covers only the Business name registration, not the fees for registering the .ie domain name...
