yes thats right! they have remade 'the hitcher', the original starred rudger hauer as a sadistic crazy hitchiker and was a very inventive film considering the simple format they had to work with and was one of my favourite films of the 80's

well guess what they have remade it and its supposed to be terrible,it stars sean bean so i was hoping for a bit of credability but no!, the release date is set for 22/06/07 over here and its 18 cert, it has been released in the states already and this is the consensus so far.....

I think it's even a remake of The Hitcher 2, which gives me even less reason to feel that joy joy feeling :(

    Watched it last week.
    Its very average.
    Formulaic ,cliched and very unscary.
Had a few jumpy moments and the score was pretty good but ultimately its a b movie.

Alas Sean Bean, what are you trying to do to your career?

I don't think I liked the original enough to really care (it was 'fun', but that's about it.)
But all I can say is Rutger Hauer > Sean Bean, imo.

First half hour was alright. Stunk the rest of the way.

At least I got to feast eyes on Sophia for an hour and a half.
