    If the text is free of charge I don't see how it actually aids the autistic in any practical way...

    If the text is free of charge I don't see how it actually aids the autistic in any practical way...
    It is to create awareness of autism and to show that Irish Autism Action has the publics support, at the moment i am unsure if money is donated but as IAA are campaining to get financial support from our government which is dearly needed...i don't think it is the general publics money they are after

    On the subject of Irish Autism Action, 3 lads I know are doing an
    eircom League charity cycle to raise awareness and money for IAA.

    Details as follows :
    Autism Life Cycle 2007

    On 23rd June, Athlone Town fans Gerard and John Tiernan, along with former
    Town star Tommy Hewitt will begin an 8 day long charity cycle in aid of Irish
    Autism Action.

    Covering a total distance of 950 miles, the lads will also visit every eircom
    League ground on the route and stop off to meet with supporters along the
    way.

    The date and route plan is as follows, and as always, your support would be
    greatly appreciated.

    23rd of June – 30th of June
    Day 1: Derry to Sligo via Ballybofey
    Visit: Derry City, Finn Harps, Sligo Rovers.
    Day 2: Sligo to Limerick via Galway
    Visit: Sligo Rovers, Galway Utd, Limerick 37.
    Day 3: Limerick to Cobh via Cork
    Visit: Limerick 37, Cork City, Cobh Ramblers.
    Day 4: Cobh to Waterford
    Visit: Cobh Ramblers, Waterford Utd,
    Day 5: Waterford to Kilkenny via Wexford
    Visit: Waterford Utd, Wexford Youths, Kilkenny City.
    Day 6 Kilkenny to Dublin via Kildare & Bray
    Visit: Kilkenny City, Kildare County, Bray Wanders, Shelbourne
    St. Patrick’s Athletic, Bohemians, Shamrock Rovers, U.C.D.
    Day 7: Dublin to Monaghan via Drogheda & Dundalk
    Visit: Drogheda Utd, Dundalk, Monaghan United.
    Day 8: Monaghan to Athlone via Longford
    Visit: Monaghan United, Longford Town, Athlone Town FC

    Total Distance: 950 miles
    Stop of Points : Derry, Sligo, Cork, Waterford, Kilkenny, Dublin, Monaghan, Athlone
