wireless problem with imac

    my signal on my wireless gone very weak this past week. i share my wireless with my neighbour and the signal had been at 3 bars but now its at 1 bar.

    the pings range from 150ms to 900ms. he hasent changed anything on his side. would this be a virus as i dont have any virus protection?

    i put an update for the airport and maybe this is the problem. cant this update be uninstalled?

    Extremely unlikely to be a virus. I think the only way to uninstall is to re-install the system and omit that particular update. You could try repairing permissions in Disk Utility or changing the position of the iMac, or turning on Interference Robustness.

    A good ol' restart sometimes does the trick for me.
