Hi guys and gals. Work in a great spot on the quays in Dublin and have some fantastic views of the river and its wildlife, seals, cormorants, brent geese and gulls of every description.

In the past year some pairs of birds have arrived that ive never seen (or noticed) before. Im dying to know what the are. They are small black birds with brilliant white markings on their wings. They dive for food and have little bright red webbed feet. I love these little guys :D but havent a notion what they are called.

Anyone know what they are or have any more info on them??
