That music on the Discover Ireland TV ad....any idea?

    Has anybody any idea what that song playing behind the latest Discover Ireland TV ad is? I think the line that's sung on the ad is "all these highs and lows...". Any idea?

    Very weird choice of song for such an ad.. Every time I hear it I think of a sub-Husker Du/Sugar.

    If anything, it cheapens the ad

    they split some time last year, but have since decided to re-unite because of the ad according to a friend who knows the singer well

    rip off artists out for a quick buck if you ask me ... not that you were :D

    Heard the song in full - really good. Slightly different, and better, version to the one used on the ad. But the presenter said they were called Laundry Shop. Maybe Angels of Mons changed their name?

    I saw them in The Roisin a couple of months back, I just happened to wander in but they were really good, definitely worth seeing. Sound folks too. And bass player is quite hot (with the singer though, he's quite big!). They've a new drummer lately as well. Good band, worth checking out

    Yeah the lead singer used to be in Angel of Mons and then started Laundry Shop.

    Personally they sound a bit ropey to me and that song is irritatingly catchy.
