Where can I find the IP address of my printer

We have an OS9 machine running here that prints to an A2 epson designjet. Nobody here knows anything about the MAC or how its set up. I have limited experience with OS9.

I want to centrally manage all the printers we have here by installing them all on a printing server. I cannot find where the IP address is specified on the MAC and there isn't a way to print the config from the printer.

Hopefully someone can help me to get the IP address?

Are you sure it's an Epson ? I thought HP made the DesignJet range of printers. Do you have a model number ?

How is the printer connected to the Mac ?
Is there a network card installed in the printer ?
If there is then you can get its I.P. from the menu display on the printer itself. Instructions are in the manual. If it has the network adaptor installed you'd probably be better off connecting the printer directly to the network switch or hub and control it from the print server or configure each machine that uses it.

It sounds like the Mac/OS9 is doing the printserver job of sharing the printer already.

Your right it is a HP actually. Yeah I just got the manual out and printed the config so everythings sorted now.
