    hya's
Hopefully someone can explain this to me. I took a picture and edited it in photoshop, nothing major, saved as a jpg (8 bit) and uploaded it to flickr.
Now here's the interesting thing, its changed colour (saturation i think) but if i save the jpg off flickr and then view on the pc locally the color is back to the original ?
I've tried this on several pc's and its the same, its the first time this has happened as well, I've also tried deleteing the photo from flickr, renaming etc. but no joy, is there something in the browser for rendering jpg's that gone wonky with this photo ?

    So try this:
    1. View flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/muineach/471063698/
    2. Save file locally
    3. View file and compare it to flickr

I've tried firefox, ie6/7 on multiple pc's in different locations, and its not just flickr I've also tried it on a web site and its the same thing.

    Thanks
    Muineach

i think flickr strip colour profile info from the file; they look identical to me.

yeah.. the downloaded version is definately more saturated than the online version

The downloaded, locally displayed version, looks slightly more saturated to me, but nothing dramatic.

Hasn't this cropped up here before though? Something to do with colour spaces?

yep you were right, it was the colour space
you can view the difference's here at my
    flickr site

I was using Lightroom for the first time yesterday and click ok to a few warning
signs, that'll teach me. Thanks for the help, would spent day's trying to find that one.
