advice on projector purchase

    Hi all,

    Just looking for advice on purchasing a projector.

    Main use will be for powerpoint/excel etc with a laptop. Been looking on www.bil.ie and http://www.thomann.de/ie/search_dir.html?sw=projector

    Budget is upto €800 for proj and then a screen on top of that.

    I've seen some nice features on some units where you can customise the start-up screen for your logo, set a timer for period of use & a VGA loop through (in case I have to use a desktop PC).

    Finally, should I stay clear of Dell?
