    Hey,
I feel like a complete idiot right now. I was in rio's on Friday and had a few pints too many, took someone else's jacket home by mistake.
It's black with two white stripes running down the shoulder, and there was a hat in one pocket. If you know someone who lost this jacket, I can meet you and give it back.
Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place, wasn't quite sure where to write this.

Edit: crap. that should have read "Lost your jacket in ri-ra"

if i lost my jacket in a night club, after hours would be the first place i'd look. i'd never think of actually trying the club to see if someone handed it in.

Sarcastic responses aside, it was two days ago, so in all likelihood, they'll already have checked with ri-ra and not found it. I reckon this is better than nothing, right?

Yeah considering the amount of boards users and considering the amount of friends of boards users in real life ('though I realise this number this may be less than the number of users:p ) then this is a good way of getting the jacket back to the owner. Goodwill and all of that.

    Can I ask 2 questions?

    1) what's the spoiler thing all about? I've seen it pop up a few times.

    2) what does FTW mean?

But they'd have tried Ri-Ra's and then left their number so the bar could let them know if it was dropped back.

Either bring it back to the bar or ring them.

Double click on the grey part and all should be revealed.

Spoilers are tags you use when you want to hide a word in your post, usually if you are discussing quiz answers, movie plots etc. The text will be greyed out until highlighted.

    For example
    This is a spoiler

Drag your cursor across the greyed out area, from left to right, while keeping the left mouse button held down to reveal all.

The spoiler is normally used to cover up important plot lines when discussing movies or t.v. shows so as not to spoil it for others who havent seen the shows yet.

    EDIT: Doh!

FTW ,means for the win i think,
but what the fcuk does dublin forum ftw mean, duh.?

as for jackets, some scum knicked a leather jacket off me in cork ages ago, right under my toes, was with a friend and not paying attention.

if you lose a jacket in a pub or club,

    bye bye..

I left my phone in a taxi on friday night, that usually means bye bye too, but the driver's son (also a taxi driver) rang 'round a load of people in my phone book until he found me and then dropped it back to me the next day.

It means that if you have a question or such pertaining to a location in Dublin you should post in that forum and not in AH.
