Fold looks good, can't see you ever being ahead here

horrible position, the caller is defo a Q so I'll let it go, 1 of the very few times I fold AA after the flop

would you not raise more before the flop? considering vincist has 3.4k in chips, asking him to stick another 100 odd in doesnt seem like alot.

never calling. your obviously beat. alarm bells should ring after flop. looks like someone connected. theres not many hands that theyre in the pot with to the river you can beat(ak,10j if your very lucky)

I dont know, their hands are pretty undefined. Neither of them can have a draw so the heart coming in is irrelevant. Theres over 2k in the pot and its only 540 for you to call, I think you are good more than 1/5 of the time here. I think I would expect to be beaten but call anyway

The odds probably dictate a call.
I would have raised it more preflop, especially if this lido666 character is as bad as you think he is. Building a bigger pot in position with him is worth the risk of losing everyone preflop.

I think the flop check is ok, although I prefer a bet. You'll often take the pot down here on the flop. If you get called you can re-evaluate and play cautiously on the later streets.

    in summation, lol donkaments.

    I Would Bet More, Preflop
I Would Bet Or Raise Or Reraise The Flop
    I Would Fold To A Re-reraise
    Since You Didnt
I Would Call The Last Bet For Value, Based On The Size Of The Pot And The Fact That You Have The Money
Chances Are Tho, That You Are Losing It

Aces--win You Little Or Lose You Loads
Players Are Always Over-valuing Them, Just Like Ak

On reflection you're right - I possible should call here for the math.

Why can neither have flush draw here? Lido666 is a any card any draw kind of person (I did however rule it out - just wondering why you would).

Is a pot size bet preflop bad in this situation? Do people recommend raising more?

Early on in these S&G's I like to disguise the strength of my hand and thus always open for a pot size bet, when I'm the first raises, is this wrong??

Anyway Lido666 ended up having Kd4d - I think he thought he had 2 pair KK & 44, forgetting about the QQ on board........

This is quite funny - can anyone guess what the other caller had??

one of the guys minraised the turn having checked the flop, that does not look like a draw to me. The other guy just called the river bet it was unlikely he had a draw. Im not saying they cant have draws, just that it doesnt look like it.

Could the guy who bet the turn weak of 100 and calls a minraise of 100 not have a flush draw here?
He might be thinking everyone is weak and semi bluff the turn, then get priced in to calling 100 more. This is something I've seen more and more lately, people check the flop and bet it on the turn.
I agree Lido can't have a flush draw here

I did fold the river by the way, I would have definately called Lido, but when the other guy flat called I felt I had to be beat. Folding also left my stack very comfortable, which I felt would give me a greater edge in the long run over calling and hoping to win 1 in 5 times.

yeah but then he just flat calls the river, which makes it unlikey. What did they both have?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,049 ✭✭✭The_Chopper

He called cos he might be scared of paired board??

Lido666 ended up having Kd 4d
    Other guy 10c 4c

I think both guys missed the fact the Queens were paired, only thing I can think of

I always find it difficult to know what to do. Personnally when the blinds are that low and i have a good hand against the bigger stacks i make it bigger then pot size. Especially in your position when there is still 7 too act. I would of made it about 400.

The problem with that is everyone can fold and your kicking yourself. Fine line though.

10c and 6c?! that something i'd see at the €2 level!
