I'm half watching it - half donkamenting it up. Ed Norton (Worm) is a slowrolling, cheating scumbag. That is all.

Where you donking it up? I've got a stack in the 20 rebuy on stars. Only on half an hour though.

I'm running terrible in the $109 deepstack.
it would be in your interests imo to stop having such a negative attitude whether you believe it or not.

I watched it, not as good as it was a few years ago. The terrible 10BB hands against Johnny Chan, "I played with the best....and won..." was just cringworthy.

He likes that Ace on the end...Maybe flopped TPTK rivering two - pair? Who knows - you kinda have to ignore the specifics of the play in order to remain sane.

I think it was supposed to be some ironic twist on the way Damon lost his BR at the start of the film. A reversal of hands, or something like that. But I can't remember either hand now.

hand he lost his BR was house of nines over Aces to house of aces over nines.

the last hand he flops the nut straight on a rainbow flop and check called all the way to the river.

OK, I'm off with my theory so. Maybe it's to do with the 'money' card i.e. the ace falling was the killer card for Damon in the first hand, and it was the killer card for Teddy in the last hand. Or I could be rambling. That's more likely.

the hand is the exact same as the hand between chan and seidel in the video he watches.

chan flops the nuts and checks it all the way to the river. seidel shoves on the river with nothing and chan takes it down

...That said, the players in this movie probably don't behave or play anything like the scene that they are supposed to represent.

true Lloyd...but some of them are a lot easier on the eye! I can most dfefinitely overlook any unrealistic poker behaviour while i'm drooling over matt damon....

A lot of people are way off in their thinking of how the Chan, Seidel hand went down, so.

Chan was in position for starters and Seidel flopped top pair and checked. Chan bet and Seidel raised. Chan just called with the nuts(Qhigh straight). Seidel open pushed a blank on the turn and Chan insta called with Seidel drawing dead.

Of course, lots of times. I am referring to the Chan, Seidel hand from the world series in 88, which matt damon watches; a hand i have just watched to make sure i was right, which i was:D
