Weight loss and fitness advice?

    Hi all,

I’m currently 5'10 and about 19 stone I have tried various methods of loosing weight over the last few years from
Weight watchers to medical advice etc etc. typically progress is very very slow (even starts of at less the 2lbs a week).
The one flaw in the plan seems to be the lack of exercise typical day involves
Getting up going to work, then going to college then home to bed. As I don’t have time to fit any regular gym or training
into that schedule I was hoping for some advice on what I can do at home to burn some fat and get myself on the long road back to
fitness. I could buy some gym equipment for home but as I live in an apartment noise and size of the equipment might be
an issue I think for this reason a treadmill is out but possibly a cross trainer or something like that ?

I really would appreciate any advice you all can give me

    Brian

do you get a lunch break or is there a gap between work and college? Could you at least get a fast walk in? Could you join a gym that opens early in the morning? Personally I don't like home gym equipment. Unless you're willing to spend thousands on industrial quality gear I feel the possibility of injury ofrom ill fitting equipment is too high. It's also more likely to get broken.

Are you happy with your diet? If you post details of a couple of typical days maybe someone could offer advice.
