Convert avi to wmv

    I want to convert avi to wmv(or similar) for use on my website.
    Tried a trial one and found it jumpy.Could you recommend a good one for this job.

    Windows Movie Maker might work (if you have Windows ME or Windows XP). Also try looking through the Essential Free Software link on this forum.
