Quick help needed

My girlfriend lost/had stolen her mobile last night in cork.
Whoever has it left it on and is cutting off calls that are made to it and not replying to any messages sent to it asking for it back.

From her meteor account online she can see numbers that they have called from her phone.

Three french numbers and an english number.

She is about to cancel the sim and block the phone from the networks here.
Anyone any ides as to how to catch them.

I imagine if this was a film you could amazing things buy hacking Satellites and computer systems and reversing polarities but as it's real like you kinda can't do ****.

Just block the sim and be done with it. Why do you want to catch them? Mobile phones can be traced, your movement can be triangulated to within a few feet but it takes alot of the guards time and resources to do this. For the sake a phone they wouldn't do it, for the sake of someone on the run from prison they would.

I'm afraid the previous posters are right. Best thing I can think that you might be able to do is, ring the numbers that they have called and tell the people who answer what has happened. It's a long shot, but you might at least embarass them.
