Is is possible to send fax via pc broadband?

    Just wondering if it is possible and if so what software is available to send a fax from a pc via broadband?

    Certainly. If you've got VoIP your provider will probably have an option (I'm with Blueface, they do). Other than that there are companies like eFax (American) that'll give you a number so you can receive faxes to your email.

    thx, i checked with my internet provider Virgin, here in England, and unfortunately they don't have VOIP :(. I'll probably just end up sending it down in the local library.

    if you are using a word document - goto

    send to- recipient using fax modem and continue from there.

    you might need "MS Fax" software but try it out.

    I think you meant send using Internet fax service, but he'll still have to sign up with one of them.

    Somebody linked to http://www.cybercity-online.net/free_fax.html in another thread before, but I've not used it myself and know nothing about it.
