Hands 1 and 3 are the same villian probably 19/13 TAG that plays agressive in postion.

Villain is Smartkiller(for any party posters) around a 28/13, just below average player.

    UTG ($429.80)
    MP ($394)
    CO ($371.70)
    Button ($490.20)
    Hero ($392)
    BB ($495)

Preflop: Hero is SB with As, Ks.
1 fold, MP raises to $14, CO calls $14, Button calls $14, Hero raises to $78, 1 fold, MP folds, CO folds, Button raises $490.20 (All-In), Hero ????? .

I guess this is nearly always a pair right?

    MP ($663.20)
    Hero ($736.75)
    SB ($401)
    BB ($239)
    UTG ($400)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 9c, Qc.
1 fold, MP raises to $15, Hero raises to $46, 2 folds, MP calls $31.

    Flop: ($98) 2diamond.gif, 2club.gif, Adiamond.gif(2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $64, MP calls $64.

    Turn: ($226) Jheart.gif(2 players)
    MP checks, Hero checks.

    River: ($226) Jdiamond.gif(2 players)
MP bets $74, Hero raises to $265.

Anyone like this bluff raise, I guess I'm trying to rep a Jack but 3-betting preflop it's kinda hard to, will this ever be profitabe?

    UTG ($477.50)
    MP ($423.50)
    Hero ($624.40)
    SB ($332.50)
    BB ($590.50)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 7s, 7c.
UTG raises to $16, 1 fold, Hero calls $16, SB calls $14, 1 fold.

    Flop: ($52) 2diamond.gif, 3diamond.gif, 4heart.gif(3 players)
SB checks, UTG bets $32, Hero raises to $84, SB folds, UTG calls $52.

    Thoughts on the check raise?

    Turn: ($220) 5heart.gif(2 players)
    UTG checks, Hero checks.

    River: ($220) Kspade.gif(2 players)
    UTG bets $165, Hero ????.

#1 is a really easy call
#2 I dont like it much
#3 I hate the cr and I insta fold the river

Hand 1 that raise looks very big, 60 or so would be fine. It doesnt really matter if its a pair or not, it matters if his range is wide enough to make calling profitable.

Hand 2 I dont see why an ace would fold.

Hand 3 I dont like the checkraise. Thats not a good board and anyone betting there will have at least 30% equity, or have you well beaten. Id fold the river

    1. insta-call

    2. don't like it, and doubt it'll work.

    3. don't like the c/r. fold now.

Yeah no check raise in the 3rd hand, was tired when editing it.

What if I said I was the villain in both hand 1 and 3. What range would you put me on in hand 3? 7's actually called the 165 and thought it was an extremly light call down.

Also hand 1 I had 66. Thoughts? pok3rplaya was talking about cold-calling raises with premium hands to induce a squeeze from the blinds. This hand is a bit different as I call a cold-call and any decent player will almost never have TT+, AQ+ here. I rarely do this but if I think AK,AQs makes up a big part of his range the likelihood is theres a few aces and kings dead to the action already and I'm happy to gamble.

    Cold Calling
    Definition
This means to call a bet and a raise. An example would be if it is preflop and you are in late position, a person in earlier position raises the blinds and you call two bets flat.

Hand 1: Sorry, need to read before I post!

    Can't believe you went all-in with 6's

i think you're risking too much for too little, if he has a high pair you're toast obv, so you're relying on him making a sqeeze with air/maginal hand or having ak.

I think you're hand is pretty transparent and it allows him to play perfectly against you. he only calls when he has you crushed or you're a maginal favourite.

No that relates to hand 2 where hero was actually hero.

    Hand 1 - Call

Just for the results orientated people out there

Hand 1: I had 66 and it held against the AKs and then got a barrage of abuse from some Swede calling me a donkey and hoped my head got run over by a car etc etc.

Hand 2: Even though the diamonds got there I was sure his 1/3 pot size bet
was weak and he folded to the bluff raise. He probably had QQ,TT or 99.

Hand 3: I had A8d and he paid me off with 77.

Next time I won't post them Hero is villian type hands and just keep it straight forward.:)
