Interior Doors - Wardrobes

Building a new house and wondering what size interior doors (double door style) would fit in a 67" opening for a reachin wardrobe? Would the standard 80" x 32" fit? What size door (again double) would suit an opening of 64"?? (We are using Oak 4 panel door with white architrave and skirting)

What way would the doors lock together in wardrobe style - dont like the idea of one stationery and one opens ie. double doors to a sunroom for example. Would like to be able to open out both doors at same time. (sorry to sound so naive). Any ideas/feedback on this style please?

We will be using a white wire mesh shelving system inside (double hanging to one side, shelves in the middle and single hang on other side with shoe storage underneath) similiar to the California Closets style. Has anyone used this shelving system?

Are people using this kind of solution to wardrobes or is the fitted / sliding doors the best option? What do you think? Thanks so much...
